Advantage?

What is the advantage?

That is: what is the hp gain?

OR

MPG gain?

Or?

it's all HP and Torque at approximately 25 and 22 lbs respectively. Check out this link, it has a dyno spec chart.

Thank you for the quick reply.

That is impressive for a 'bolt on' hp gain.

But does this kill your gas milage?

Is it easy to 'live with' this mod?

Any downside? Excessive noise? Any downside with this mod?

Is installation a time consuming job? Doesn't look like very much clearance in the engine compartment where this thing lives. Must the engine be pulled out to install? How many hours?

I have seen this plenum for sale used before. It makes me wonder: Why would someone buy, then go thru the expense or work of installation and then the reverse and only to return the intake to stock?

Thanks for your patience, but I would think the eager minds out there would want to know the answers as much as myself.

Gas mileage is not affected as it makes airflow to the engine much more efficient than the stock piece and thus increases HP.

Absolutely, no issue with causing adverse problems or any other issues at all.

None at all, I actually have the same plenum on my car and I like it a lot and would not go back to stock.

I had it installed so I couldn't answer if it is time consuming or not. The guys at the shop I took it to said it was an easy straight forward install and it simply replaces the OEM part so no problem with clearance and the such. The engine does not have to be pulled out at all. Some have done the install themselves and have stated it only took them an hour max.

I think most folks have it removed prior to selling the car just because some folks think aftermarket isn't stock and they feel more comfortable buying a stock vehicle. To each his own I guess but I would rather purchase the car with the plenum than to purchase it separately.

No problem on the questions, you're just trying to be informed As I stated before, i have it on my car and i love it. My friend never even bought his Porsche so it's just been sitting in my garage and I'm doing some spring cleaning. Hope that helps

So, the only thing left is: the $$$. The despicable part.

So, please either post or pm me with an offer I can't refuse.

Thanks again for all the quick and informative answers.

And good luck either way.

Sincerely.
