18" polished billet aluminum by Complete Custom Wheel with chrome Porsche emblem center covers. Front is 8.5" wide and rear is 12". Offsets are custom to allow for larger tires. Normal GT at the front is ET40 and rear is ET45. These are front ET35 and rear ET42. This helps to fill out the wheel well better without having to use spacers. Also gives a little more room to the inside for larger tires. I ran Nitto NT01's with 245 on front and 315 on rear. I can't remember if the tires rubbed the rear inner fender liner or not. I had such large turbos on the rear that I had to reposition the driver's side liner support bracket to clear the compressor. I did not have to roll the fenders. I soon went to larger tires and wheels and they rubbed a hole in the liners on both sides (335's) but I don't remember a problem with the Nittos. There is enough clearance for 997 Porsche calipers and discs and some after market brake setups. There are a few dings here and there but they should polish out easily. $1,700.
TT Pietz Stainless 70mm Exhaust System
Separate right and left bank exhaust systems for ease of installation. Over 20# in weight savings. Necks down at final turn to fit stock exhaust tips. Final elbow could be modified to give 70mm from start to finish. No droning at any RPM. No cats. $1500

Al's stuff is top shelf!
Want to give Al a bump. I bought H&R sway bars from and he shipped them promptly and they were in great shape. Installed them Sunday.
Thanks to both of you for the kind remarks. I've had interest in the wheels but it seems everyone is quite a distance from Atlanta and the shipping charges have been high. Maybe there is a cheaper way to ship than UPS or FedEx but I'm not aware. the boxes are about 20 x 20 x 14 for the largest 2 and weight is between 28 and 30 lbs. All this is within UPS and FedEx guidelines but cost is high to CA and especially to Australia.

I have heard some people ship via Greyhound, I am not sure how to do this but it is supposed to be cheaper, If you open your own UPS account I think it is cheaper than just going to a pack and ship. I have shipped wheels with and without tires and 160.00-200.00 is just about on target. Added to 1700.00 it is still a good deal.Originally Posted by Al Norton

I've shipped over 20 sets of my personal wheels via FedEx and the prices all have ranged from $130 - $180. UPS is usually 20% more expensive (not sure why). The only hassle will be boxing them up and taking them into the store. Originally Posted by nijoma

That is how I have sent wheels I have sold/bought in the past. I have also sent large items such as bumpers, etc. Greyhound/Amtrack are the cheapest and they also have tracking/insurance. I never had any problems.

That's good to know. One interested person has gotten a quote through his FedEx account for less than $85 to San Antonio. I think that's pretty reasonable. The quote through my UPS account was $117. Originally Posted by dgreen78

I'm going to see if I can open a FedEx account today if anyone is there on Saturdays.

I plan to open a FedEx account one day this week. Just been too busy with other things to take the time. Stay in touch.Originally Posted by iborroel
