Still trying to find any hard evidence that an intake makes any power.

Any proven results? Searching didn't help much.

Im not gonna lie to u man...i doubt it!! The manufactures always manage to get a few horses out of them but is that from tuning, temperature, pressure, who knows?! What i can sell ya on is that it does dress up an otherwise bland engine bay. HP? Maybe but in modding any car its a cumulative effect of looks and performance that brings you the total package. Il either sell this or i wont. I plan on blow thru system at some point so i just wont need it.

Well traditional intake has MAF meter before the turbo and reads airflow B4 the turbo. In addition the air has to travel through a bit of restrictive tubing b4 it gets to the turbo and allegidly inhibits HP.
Blow through system has the intake system directly connected to each turbo so 2 separate intakes feeding respective turbos. Typically these intakes are larger and routed to a position just above the IC which eliminates much of the restrictive piping. From there the air is compressed by the turbos, off to the IC and through the Y pipe. The MAF is relocated to a position just outside the throttle body and the air is blown by versus sucked by. In addition to increased HP it helps the turbos spool faster and increase throttle response. The stock intake and piping is eliminated.
