next season i am getting a custom set of Forgestar CF5s made in 18x8.5 and 18x12. sticking to AWD i think. tires i already got

front are the Kumho Ecsta XS KU36 235/40/18 which are supposed to be very sticky. rears are 315/30/18 BFG Drag Radials. There were no in front DRs in the AWD sizing. also this size rears is same height as my 19" front so if I am mega lazy i can just put the rears on.

 

Ran a 2006 R1 yesterday with custom exhaust. 50 degrees out, getting good launches is getting tougher. watch the vid in HQ and you can see smoke from the back wheels. Did the 1/4 neck and neck with the bike at my front fender. Great run, closest i've ever ahd I would say.

my launch was pretty bad for me. not as bad as witht eh vettes on Thursday. 2.0 60' and spin then a stupid short shift to 2nd then more spin. i had the vbox in the car when i was running the vettes from 2nd gear 40 rolls. on that run it recorded a 6.6. i think thats fine for the first time. i am going to go out to a flatter road and do it in 1 gear and 2 gears with some brake boosting. with power it made, there is no reasons why it shouldnt get 5s.
