Mark's also lucky the Sandbox Evo had issues or he would of lost on the old setup to a stock block/head/cams/smaller then stock hotsided 3065 SINGLE turbo 4cyl.

We will see what happens with the cobra.....

 

He runs door to door with an r1, beaten an 700 whp gtr, and has killed multiple 10 second vettes....

 

nope but such car does exsist and run will happen. it just got a 2.8L Kenne Bell and some tune adjsutments are still being made.

Chip loooooves making it sound like a slow car going 10s at 133-136mph and running E85 and 30+ pounds of boost, making 530awhp on a Mustang which is what my old setup made. Factor in a good/expreienced driver and the only issue he had was not getting into 4th gear, on one run i was ahead until he missed 4th and he wasnt pulling and on another run i was a car behind and passed him when he missed 4th. We ran that race back 4 times, it is what it is. Despite what your evo foresight tells you that race was a drivers/launch race with similar weight/power cars.

 

and unfortunately for Chip missed gears matter.

 

they do to me too, especially when they could make or break the race. thats why we tried to run it a handful of times. now that car is down for the season for a motor rebuild and will be coming back a billet HTA35 car on E85 in the spring.

 

Mark knows whose side i'm on. it's all in good fun. I've been stirring the pot for him lately and figure I show him how it feels. Thursday night looks to be good weather, hopefully something comes out of it.

 

Understood but missed gears are just like any other excuses for a loss. You know that.

the cobra kid is shady **** and just did a KB blower and tune plus he is with holding dyno and ET info yet raves all over facebook how he got kicked out. Too many asshats talking smack. Meanwhile the cobra driver knows all about the yellow tt. personally if there is wagers to be had I wouldn't run cobra until I knew what's up because knowing the owner he;d spray 300 just for the one pass to win

 

True street racers don't reveal any info about there cars. Hopefully he'll run Mark from a dig since the yellow bullet shines from dig races.

 

It'll be a dig race for sure, and he trolls the forums so i'm sure he'll see the comments.

Car was stock blower, stock block and 125 shot i beleive. Now its a KB blower, stock block and supposedly won't be spraying. Getting retuned soon and he'll be out. Car's been in the 10's already in the mid 130s from what I've been hearing.

It's going to be a interesting race for sure. 2 confident owners, 2 fast stock motor cars with a lot of extra boost, and 1 cold street.
