[QUOTE=prodigymb;3421794

BTW Markski texted me and we worked it out. Misunderstanding was that I called his mufflers resonators just because of their physical chracteristics and he thought that I called them cheap - which I did not. So its all good here, you can go to patrol the rest of 6speed LOL[/QUOTE]

Mark is a man of his Word. I wish more Venders were like him i have t admit. If he says he will do something he does and for a small operation like his that is HUGE! Make you think sometimes how some of the really big guns out there how they got to where they are. Im not knocking them they all have there right to make money but .... a lets leave it alone and enjoy our cars.

Chad get back to what you were doing.. LOL

I left one of Henessey's gatherings behind your car probably 18 months ago and I will attest to the ridiculously awesome sound your car makes.

The dyno results are in. Sorry I have been dragging my feet (literally). I had knee surgery and havent left the house. Couldnt even drive the car to the dyno.

The dyno shows an increase from this custom 3" exhaust in combination with Forge intercoolers. I did 3 pulls with no cool down and power kept going up every time until the 4th pull where it finally dropped a few whp.

Overall I am super stoked about the gains, as they were huge. 50ft-lbs of torque down low and on top end. 50whp and 64whp closer to redline. There is a drop in the torque at peak which is a byproduct of making absolutely no changes to my tune and freeing up the flow on both sides alot. If Tony @ EPL does a tune revision, surely we can make even more power. There will be a dyno video with flame action in a few days.

**Note this is not a comparison vs. stock parts. This is an improvement over quality previously upgraded parts. Gragraphic exhaust made room for a custom T3 Industries 3.3-3" system with dual 3" tips. 997.2 GT2RS Intercoolers were upgraded to the Forge 3.6" units.

*** Another note before people start asking. Yes my car did make 637awhp on the EPL mustang and after that it basically made the same thing on this Dynojet which for some reason read about 10% low judging by some stock cars that did pulls yesterday. Stock STI with exhaust only made 230 vs 250-260 they make on a normal dynojet. Gotta find a happier dynojet for glory 750rwhp pulls

From the graph you can tell that the difference in spool is phenomenal, the intial torque spike is small and smoother and sustained longer.

goodies..

I spy some new wheels... when did that happen?

Exhaust looks great - any pics with the rear bumper on?

Is there another thread that covers your "other" mods, such a Throttle Body and plenum (stock?), intake piping etc. ? In the pics it looks your YPipe looks stock.

Regardless, awesome gains. I'd like to get a better picture as to which mods provide the most bang for your buck etc.

no pics with bumper on yet but the dual tips look awesome with it on. they are powdercoated black shadow chrome like the wheels. chrome base and a darer top coat.

wheels just went on this week. 542Rs. chrome lips, hre chrome base and black shadow chrome top coat over the chrome. color came out awesome. just need to take some pics of it.

yes there are thread i made that have my other mods listed. this is more of switching out particular components of my setup that felt were restrictive at this power level.

its hard to say what gives you the best bang for the buck. it really comes down to the combination of parts working in unison.

i have just about all the supporting mods.

1.5 bar
72# injectors
EPL Tune
T3 Industries crossflow 3.3-3" Exhaust
Aquamist HFS-3 Meth kit with 2x 1.0 nozzles
Forge Intercoolers
Forge DVs
Forge Silicone hoses
IPD Competition Plenum with 75mm TB
RSW 2.5" Turbo inlet pipes
Markski 850 Fuelpump kit
EvoMS Air Intake

i think thats it.

Hey,Thanks for sharing..Nice numbers/increase..I know that Cargraphics(smaller inner piping) was restictive because I also gained alot going to the Milltek over it,,Plus thats when I needed another fuel pump with that swap....Do you have the stock factory Y-pipe with the bigger TB??..Just asking because Proto is modifying one to match up to the bigger TB for me ,then I am going to do the Y-pipe,TB and plenum swap on the dyno....

I can have one of those big Y-pipes made in a couple days for a very resonable price. I am not convinced they add power. I have never seen a reliable independent dyno test. I know most people use them on a blow through setup. I however run stock MAF.

Todd mods the stock Y pipe trunk to match up,,same factory sensor in stock location....I really think it helps to have it match the TB mouth??

if your not running a blow through and the different maf, i dont think the swaping the Y pipe is worth it.
