yes i know pressure is pressure, since they becaome more restrictive with more airflow there is a higher chance of ruining the lower end tank. i also expect to see faster spool. dyno will show.

Hard to beat 950$ for the 997.2s but I did not want the risk of ruining the end tanks, as i have read there are already 2 cases that i know of where they came apart. Gladly one was repalced under the new parts warranty which is awesome. When "upgrading" from one to another the cost is easier to eat.

Only and apples to apples test is valid. A dyno is not going to tell you much, you need real world testing just like Earl did. I'm sure the members here would pitch in on the shipping to see the results. I would. My bet is still on the 997.2 IC. These Forge look beefy and are nice and shiny though....
i still have the .2s laying here and i have some testing that already has been done with them. sending them out is not an option as i am on a tight schedule with the winter projects. keep in mind my car has meth so my IATs will always be niceee and cold. i am interested in the overall performance gains (vbox runs) and power increases.

I got the same intercooler and my installer found pin holes in the welds.... Had to get them re-welded.

looks like a great piece! when i did mine, i eventually went back to the stock clamping system and Y-pipe. There wasn't any difference on the dyno at my power levels 530 AWHP on smallish Tial turbos and aftermarket intercooler.

The car was a lot more reliable since the the factory clamping system didn't end up leaking every 2-3 months which made for erratic idle and loss of power. Too much PIA for me.

The intercoolers and hoses are great though!

Have seen these in person and they look like a nice fit. Seem like a good deal against some of the competition.

Not sure how the factory clamping system is more reliable? I think the Y-pipe was not braced properly and that caused your problems. Just to get a tad deeper if you are using any other hose then the factory ones you still have hose clamps holding your hoses onto adapters anyway.
