Hey guys. Got a three day old set of HRE 21 inch 794RS wheels. Black with polished lips.

Ordered these in April from Ben at Wheels Boutique. Just got in Friday. Unfortunately, gonna sell my Cayenne and can't use them anymore.

Per my understanding, these should fit Panameras and Q7s as well.

They on 2 days and have less than 100 miles on them. Now asking $5000 for a $9000+ set of wheels.

These are absolutely pristine! No markings, no wear, new Michelin tires. TPMS, valves, etc.

What are the offsets on the hre's? are they 21 by 10 all the way around? Whats the max width tire for the rear one can place?

Guys I've been waiting for a tracking # from this guy for over a month now and still waiting...

 

You may want to contact the mods if he didnt ship the wheels to you. OP tried to contact me several months ago about buying the wheels but I already found a set. Hopefully everything works out!

 

Firstly, wheels sold to a local buyer.

Second, Hanjob wanted the wheels shipped to California to a second individual with no money guarantee. So, went with more local deal to ensure everything went smoothly.

Sorry, I had sent a message to other poster. Never heard back and assumed he was aware of the fact that they would not be coming.

I could do $4500. I think, given that these are $9000 with about 150 miles on them, TPMS/Stems/Wheels/Centers, it is a pretty reasonable deal.

Also, if we do it at 4k, then I would ask for wire vs PayPal so I don't lose the 3%. I have many references from the watch world with transactions in the 5 digits. So, it would be the only way I could really do the shipping for 4k inclusive.

Or I can pay with paypal and after I get the wheels I can send you a check and you credit me the entire PayPal amount so no fees for either parties.

Well, shipping should be less than $100 for ground, so no way I would agree to the $500 price reduction.

I have no issues with PayPal, but as I said, I think it is unreasonable to say its either PayPal and lose $500 off the price, or lose the 3% and pay shipping. So, we can do either Paypal, and I would ask for a split in the fee at 1.5 % or we can do COD with certified check at delivery for $4000. It must be a certified bank check though. Otherwise, I am afraid we can't do a deal.

You are getting 9k worth of tires, wheels, TPMs for 4k. I think what I am asking is a reasonable offer/compromise.

COD will work but there's no way it will cost $100 to ship all 4 wheels. Either way I'll do the $4000 shipped COD and will have certified fund ready just let me know who to make it out to.

Also, I want to make sure the description in your ad is still accurate even though it's been some time?

Won't be much more than 100 to 150. I have shipped wheels many times. So, I can't imagine much of a change there.

Will double check again today.

The wheels are pristine. They are in storage at Isringhausen Imports, where I traded the car.

Will be shipping out early next week. Shipping was 160 ish. My dealer will be packaging them up this weekend and pickup, I believe, will be on Tuesday. Should be there by weeks end.

I just realized I'll be out of town next week from the 9th to 17th so if you cant get the wheels to me by this Friday hold off on shipping until next week so I can be there to inspect the wheels upon arrival. I can PayPal a deposit of needed to hold the wheels.

Hey mate. Sorry, just got your message.

Have been in and out of town last 10 days with family illness.

FedEx had not picked up the wheels last week when I had talked to Geoff. I have called him today and left a message. I am assuming, by the fact I haven't heard anything from you, that they have not been picked up.

I apologize for dropping the ball here. I have been a little distracted. I am assuming you would still want them? If so, let me know for sure and I will make sure it gets out in next 24 hours or so.

Yes. Still serious. I am just waiting on FedEx to verify my ground pickup. I only have had an express account, and they had to verify me since I was having something picked up out of state. Should be out either tomorrow or Monday. I am supposed to know today, and will forward tracking to you.

Who is the second individual? And what no money guarantee? I repeatedly asked for payment information so I could have it arranged for COD and I also explained the other buying terms to you so you would not incur any additional fees.

-We reached a mutual agreement of payment and shipping terms by 08/28/12 or 08/31/12 however you want to look at it.
-I inquire about tracking/payment information on 09/15/12
-I receive no further PM's after 10/07/12

I was not in dire need of these wheels, but I'm just disappointed in the way that the seller conducted himself throughout this process.

Plain and simple there were things with some of the information provided me, which BTW is not in this "exchange" you provided.

You posted implying I had taken something from you in exchange for the wheels. My point in posting the above response yesterday was to indicate that was not the case. Nothing more.

As far as to whom the more local buyer, it was a far more convenient transaction with someone I have done business with before.

I couldn't verify who you were. I couldn't verify the address. I was not gonna send these across the US without some kind of verification.

I apologize if, in some way, this inconvenienced you. However, I had thought, truly, that I had indicated to you in a PM that I was not sending them. If I did not, then I am at fault for that and apologize. I would have followed up sooner to your posting in this thread, however, I must have missed the notification that came through in email that you had responded in this thread. Only after last nights notification of the post by C4SxM5 did I see your post.
