From what I understand ... Blendmounts doesnt work with 996TT rear view mirrors ...

But if it does ... I'm interested.

This would be one of the instances I'd like to be mistaken ...

 

Not sure why it wouldnt...it just clamps onto mirror stalk. i just bumped the thread from the fellow i bought from...it has pic. Also, didnt realize i only paid 55 for it. Will offer it at 55 shipped (us).

The company told me that it wont go through a "Type 1" rear view mirror or something rather. But ... if it indeed works, then perhaps its time for me to get one

 

Just to be clear (cuz $50 isn't worth making me look like a liar), I never installed this, but that had NOTHING to do with compatibility. Just never got around to it.

I'm sure somebody has installed this on here...

 

From what the manufacturer states the mount only works with a non-dimming mirror.

 

I'd like to make myself clear, it is not my intention to call anybody a liar or what not. I am simply stating what I was told ... and if for some reason it works ... I want one myself.

 

Goodness...that's not what I was implying, Saint. I just didn't want someone to buy it thinking that I attempted to install, discovered it didn't work and tried to pawn it off on somebody else (in the event that it doesn't work as they say it should on the manufacturer website).
