This is an Authentic MACarbon carbon fiber center console. What this specifically means is the STOCK Porsche console (Made in Germany) is sent to MaCarbon and they LAMINATE the entire console with carbon fiber. They outsource the laminating to their sister company in Belgium where they make sure the carbon fiber detail is consistent with Porsche carbon fiber design (every sports car manufacturer has a unique carbon fiber design). This is a high-quality piece!

By the way,what happen to the story you told me about purchasing it brand new from a company that no longer is in business. I think you said 996 motorsports or something close to it . Now you claim its from MACarbon. Oh, well...

The seller neglected to tell me he was going to change the asking price or I would have advised him differently...it would have been better to remove this classified and start out with a new one, which is what he wanted to do...in any event, read the new description and make your decision

Gentlemen, there is no need to act like adolescents here. After all, we are all grown men! When I started this classified, I based my description and price on a carbon fiber console manufactured by a company no longer in business (969 Motorsports). I made this mistake because I purchased a lot of items in the past from 969 Motorsports (when they were in business). A few days after I started this thread, I realized the manufacturer of this console is actually MACarbon. When I figured this out, I immediately PM'ed "GT3 Chuck" (our forum's administrator) and asked whether I should revise the thread or start a new thread since I will be changing everything (description, price, build quality, etc). Chuck advised me to revise the thread and I did accordingly. When Chuck advised me to revise the thread, he did not think I would change the price but just change the description and so forth. It was a simple mistake on Chuck's behalf and I applaud him for acknowledging that to everybody. I made a mistake, Chuck made a mistake, we all make mistakes ( it's human nature).

In regard to the individuals that are angry/upset now that the console isn't for sale at $500 anymore, I sincerely apologize for expecting only $850 for a BRAND NEW IN BOX AUTHENTIC MACarbon center console that retails for $1,500 ($1,250 if you provide the core). Be that as it may, this console has been sold to an individual that not only understands the great deal they received, but also has the character to understand how men make mistakes sometimes. Please close the thread
