looking for used 997.1 mufflers from various manufacturers. i need a muffler that has an outlet pipe long enough to support a bypass pipe from the inlet pipe to the outlet pipe. the lighter the system the better. i know that awe and fabspeed will work, but others might as well. let me know what you have.

 

Have you thought about akrapovic heard it on a few P-cars and woow

 

i have thought about the akrapovic unit - i knew of them for their motorcycle exhausts long before the car exhausts. for the power gains, the cost is just too prohibitive for me. i know the gains are minimal, so i'm just trying to fine tune the sound. i have headers, the cats, the intake... at this point it's about creating a particular sound.

 

mid-week bump. looking for any aftermarket take-off mufflers that could be a candidate for a bypass (hack) pipe. let me know if you have anything laying around.

 

Did you already try hacking the AH mufflers? How did that work out for you?
