this i do know, but its not the same quality sensor as oem. ive been tossing it around in my head go cheap or not.

i tried the cheap route ordered up aftermarket starter didn't fit(shaft too long), sent it back ordered another sensor on the cheap didn't fit in the desired hole sent it back got porsche oem.

seems porsche changes their OEM stuff just enough that the aftermarkets are close but not the same.

 

that is exactly the same Bosch sensor you would receive in the porsche box. starters and alternators are a different ball game.

 

so whats the difference in the sensors as that one comes with -m14 at the end and the OEM one does not.

this sensor part number is used on alot of models some not even porsche stuff.

ive found that the OEM one actually states this from the factory G99660618000 the bosch replacements are m9966061800 and then there is a seperate number from bosch 0 261 230 038

i am very familar with white box parts, and there being only a slight difference in genuine and not genuine.

 

same sensor man. bosch makes it and its used in other cars as well but ur call, pay 400$ for OEM one. there are dozens of people using that one here

btw bosch yellow box isnt quiet the same as "white box" parts.

 

so you have first hand experience with the sensor from pelican parts? and it works good?

with this knowledge id feel better about ordering it from them

 

yes. i have used the boost sensor, voltage regulator, the N75 valve, the throttle body all from Bosch, Beru 997 coil packs from pelican. Pelican also warranties the stuff they sell thru manufacturers warranty which is awesome.
