I removed this exhaust system from my 996 Turbo S that I purchased in March. They sound great, but just too much sound for me. It was on the car for about 7000 miles. I reinstalled the original muffler that has the holes drilled into it.

This exact same exhaust system is available new from RPi today for $3750.

The cats are working perfectly because the car passed California smog certification in March.

Removal of the left rear O2 sensor was difficult and we left a slight scratch near that part of the system. Can't be seen at all from outside of the car.

The exhaust weighs about 33 pounds. I will ship in USA. It will be a single large box. Price is $975 plus shipping which I will determine once I get the ship-to zip code.

I just bought one with 100 miles on it last month. I love the sound and I don't thinks it's to loud for a 3 inch exhaust. Build quality was very good and it is easy to install and remove with the v-band clamps. Good luck with sale. I think the price is excellent.

 

What are the power gains from this system?

I am local too.

 

I am guessing in the 15-20 hp range at upper rpms. I am only quoting other articles on this. I have not measured it myself.


But from seat-of-the-pants gut feel, there is definitely a boost in power. The engine revs way easier, too.
