Hello. I have 11 CTT with Sport steering wheel with options: non heated, w/o voice recognition, w/hlamp washer, w/distance sensor in beige. I would swap with anyone who has same option on leather steering wheel or with walnut wheel. This swap will require programming, swapping the wheel, combo switch with clock spring. Whoever is interested will pay for swap unless can do themselves, im willing to help but i have no software (sport wheel cost more). I'm located in New York but will travel to NJ if needed. unsure that multi wheel will work on your car... smb said that such coding is impossible... ask G_A

 

I'm actually a second owner and the vehicle originally came with multi wheel original owner replaced it with sport wheel, I would like to change it back.

Going back and forth between Sport and MF wheels is possible. It's adding the heated steering wheel option that people want which G_A doesn't think is possible due to coding that needs to be done that no one seems to be able to do.

He meant the Model Year 2015 steering wheel (same one in the Macan and 918). My guess on the price is in the $2500 - $3500 range depending on options and finish. I haven't been able to get a parts list for it yet to know for sure though so my guess is based off the 2011-2014 MF wheel parts.

 

Since my CTTS is in getting serviced, I asked the SA about how do I go about changing my MY2014 wheel to a MY2015. He flat out said I can't. They tried to do it for another client, and they were not able to perform the programming. Take that with a grain of salt though. This is the same dealer that wanted to charge me $3k for my Akrapovic install whereas the local dealer said would cost around $350 (w/o wireless kit).

can you ask or tell exactly what parts they ordered and what exactly they try to program?

 

I just bought new mf steering, now need to buy a switch for none sport steering, once done ill probably be selling Sport setup.
