Need parts for HRE 543 18" Stepped lip wheels

So I recently picked up a set of wheels and went in knowing one lip was needing replacement. After the fact I realized I had missed a cracked spoke... sadly getting one to replace it requires HRE cutting a new center and rebuilding the wheel. Already chatted with them, they are willing to and the price isn't that bad considering the cost of the wheels in general.

However, as I am likely swapping out all 4 lips and needing a center, if I can find parts second hand... well its a better way in my mind.

That short run down aside, anyone have a partial set of 18" stepped lip HRE 543s they wish to part with? I missed a set selling last fall on Rennlist, went to someone in Denver and I'm exploring the possibility of getting in touch with that person... but no luck yet.

Worth saving!!!

Planning on doing 3" (vs 2") rear and staying with a 1" front. Exact combination depends on what I can find honestly, If I can find an original matching 1" for the front, just need 1, otherwise I can go to aftermarket and do both.

The center piece is the biggest piece of the puzzle for me.

I have a guy that's rebuilt a few sets of wheels for my cars locally. Let me check and see how much he'd charge for lips and shipping to IL. How much is HRE charging?

I believe just lip replacement/rebuild is $400, not sure if that covers any finishes or what though yet. Center getting cut and rebuild of that wheel (they have to do it all to ensure it works, as these are old enough to not be in their system for exact exact specs) ~$1000.

I'm leaning towards just getting the center cut, replacing the 1 1" J lip on the front and rock the 18x8 and 18x10 on the car as is.

Going through HRE to replace the outer and center will cost nearly the same as buying a used set.

There are vendors who sell new lips and barrels like Wheel Flip: http://shop.wheelflip.com/collection...s/18-outer-lip

You could also scrap your build and buy my 543R I have posted

edit: I think i clicked in the wrong thread, but still a bit to rich for my blood :P, I have been in your for sale thread a few times though

original confused post:
Nice try there , but then I'd have to run 20"s and I'm an 18"s guy on this car.

Plus, I could finish having the repairs done and still be in for about half of those nicely price and new wheels. Gotta stick out my mistake (missing the cracked spoke) I think at this point.

Keeping this alive in case someone has parts available.

That said.. I'm debating selling these off, basically its a full set minus one front lip and one rear center (center included, but spoke cracked).

I have a set I'm looking to sell that I was going to have refinished and then post on here. Wheels are straight and true, no curb rash, just the finish is showing its age. Not sure what you're looking to spend, but I'm only interested in selling the whole set. I'll be going through your state within the next month on a road trip so I could also meet you so there's no shipping charge. Make me an offer, I'm looking to move them...

Hurm, depending on what you are thinking due to the refinish needs... that might not be an awful idea as it then leaves me with spares which anyone with these wheels should likely have (even though HRE can make new centers if needed). Debating now in my head how much I want to get into "one" set for though.

Widths and offsets (pictures can't hurt either).
