I purchased this gas cap off of ebay used (but in excellent condition) for my 997.2 TTS. I didn't realize the 997.2 and 991 had different gas cap connections. My loss is your gain. It's plastic like the original but looks so much better. It comes with two loops that can be used to connect the cap to the car. You will need to use your original push pin clip as this kit did not come with one.

For the record, I liked it so much I purchased a new one for my 997.2. The last picture is an example of what it looks like on my car and is for reference only. The exterior of the cap is the same while the interior is different. Asking $120 shipped within the cont. U.S. plus paypal fees.
