WTB Eibach springs

Category: Steering & Suspension
Price: $123
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 996 Turbo
Location (State): CA
Item Condition: Used

As the title states, looking for H&R or Eibach 1 inch lowering springs. Blue collar guy on a budget here, can’t afford coilovers.

Hoping I can find a lowering spring and have a simple alignment done.

@jcc0016 Thanks!

@997Troy I was under the impression the 996 and 997 were a different spring (different Eibach part number).

The more I read, the more I’m leaning towards the Eibachs. Little less than an inch lowering.

Ive had MANY lowering spring and strut setups on other cars, and always been impressed with the old Eibach Pro line springs.

Sorry I didn’t realize what chassis they were for but I wouldn’t be surprised if the part numbers were the same

@GT3 Chuck Thank you sir!

@user426 I think I’ve decided the H&R’s are lower than what I’m comfortable with. I’m back to looking for the Eibachs. If a set doesn’t turn up I’ll purchase new online.

I know I’ll still wind up buying Bilsten PSS10’s in the long run though.

Just as a heads up, the Eibach is for C2 996 - does not include turbo.

@white out Wow 😳 You seem to be right…

Flat 6 Motorsports lists Eibachs for the 996 Carrara, S, 4, 4S and Turbo. Although they seem to be the ONLY vendor that lists them, leading me to believe they are incorrect.

Darn. Any other lowering springs with a very minimal 1 inch drop and performance ride? I still think the HR 1 1/2 inch is too low for my liking.

For the price, H&R is a great deal. I think the next option (price wise) would be BC coilovers.

I have a set of H&R Springs (29385),with less than 7000 miles on the my car, and want to back to the stock springs. Would do a swap with you if you'er interested.

Like you said H&R may be too low for you (pic below of them on my car). I love the stance but the Detroit area roads have too many pot holes/construction to keep it this low.
