Hello everyone..

Hi:

This is my first post on 6speed. I've been reading onthe forum for awhile now but never have a chance to post a anything. So here it is, I've finally decided to purchase a CGT. I have narrow it down to a 07' Diamond Edition with around 5k-7k miles, blk/blk or white/saddle.

I have found two so far at Championmotorsport and one goes for 158k with 6k mileage (blk/blk) and another silver one with 3k mileage but at the same price.

My questions are, what's consider low mileage for a 07'? What price should I be asking for at current economy. My last question is, it is safe to buy cars from other state. I know normally people will send the car to professional inspection before purchasing it.

I know a few questions might have been answered before but I'd like the most current reply =P. Thank you very much for your time.

p.s: please ignore my crappy English.

Regards
Dennis

Welcome, Dennis.

Just be aware that in this market prices are plummeting! Car dealers are hurting.

We had three Chevy dealers close in the Bay area just yesterday!

Do more research on autotrader.com, cars.com, etc to see what's being offered and at what price.

Take your time! This is not a time to be rushing into a car deal!

Thank you very much for your reply. I will take my time to find my ideal GT. In the mean time, do you think its stupid to get a used CGT instead of a brand new 997 Turbo?

I am done buying new cars. It's programmed ripoff.

I'll buy them a year old and put the differences into real estate.

So, yes, it's stupid to get a new TT that will degrade $30K plus in one year.
