It is my understanding that the warranty (3yr/unlimited) is only valid when purchased from an authorized Bentley dealership. Did you purchase yours this way? Just curious and may explain why you are being quoted the $1900.

Logic would say that the warranty would transfer with the car no matter how it was sold...at least that's my opinion. That being said, I don't know if this in fact the case. I can check with my contacts and try to shed more light on this for you. Hell, I want to know now.

Bought both mine from non franchised dealers and both were serviced free of charge by Franchised dealer, no problems.

Bentley does not understand customer service. I have an '08 GTC and live about 35 miles from the dealership. Bentley of Pittsburgh (Rohrich Motors) will not pick up the car for service or provide a loaner. They said I didn't purchase it from them (bought used.) As much as we love the car, it's my first and last Bentley.

That is strange as i live 100 miles from the nearest service facility and they said they flat bed her to and from the service location at no additional charge. Perhaps you may want to call the Bentleys main USA importer/distributer and calmly provide them the facts and how this makes you feel as a Bentley customer.

BTW, nice Porsche avatar
