My little nephews all race pretty fast little cars on the race track, and they have always kept their dyno stats after any major modifications to their vehicles, just to keep an eye on their performance. You can't expect consumers to believe you if you have NO PROOF. Any one can't write a tuning program, but where's the dyno sheets. You have all these companies that hype performance upgrades up with outrages HP, some will and can harm your vehicle. You can't charge us thousands of dollars with hype, advertising and little NO PROOF!:

Dear Wedgeduck I would wager that the companies you are talking about would produce fantasy dyno sheets if pressed to. Crooks will remain remain crooks. Good reputations ands referrals is where it is at for me.

Yep. Go with an established tuning company that has actually put their own cars through some abuse, that's when you can start calling it a performance upgrade.

I got my GT tuned by ETG after recommendation by a friend.
Car was dynoed here in Germany 2 times before.
First completely stock.
Second is stock with Quicksilver exhaust.
Then the ECUs were sent to ETG, programmed by them and sent back to me.
Car was dynoed again. With exhaust and tune.

The torque gain is huge, i could not be happier with the performance.
Consumption is slightly higher right now, but i think thats mainly because i enjoy the power so much.

Please not that in the attached dyno sheet you find engine hp and the torque is in newton meter.

Thanks Jags, great job!

Edit: i just see its about the 2012 GT here. Mine is a 2006.

Well done Monty. And surely I know you enjoy all that extra horsepower Was the Quicksilver exhaust system a muffler system or do you have the whole cat delete system? I just wanted manufacture to produce these results. We are consumers. When we shop, we like to see what we are getting into.

I only took the cat-back system. Sound is fine, but i will switch do downpipes, too. If you look at the factory downpipes, you see that there is a real bottleneck. Should gain some more power with this "problem" solved + will take some stress from the turbos. I hope the downpipes do not make it too much louder.

I don't believe those downpipes will change your exhaust note too much. I removed and installed the complete Fabsspeed exhaust myself and the stock ones were so dinged in because of fitment. Plus, the stock downpipes were in two different size tubes. Kinda strange, figuring on why they would want to slow down the exhaust flow before it hits the cat,

Wedgeduck

Would you happen to have a picture of the stock downpipes?

Thanks!
J

I will go to the shop and take a few pics of those stock downpipes for you. Look on YouTube for Fabspeed's Bentley GT tutorial. I believe they wiil show you all the dings and the 2 different size tubings the factory downpipes.

J, I boxed and stored those box last week. Look on YouTube. Those downpipes do look kinked up and very restrictive because of the bottleneck caused by the two sizes in tubing. Other than that, I will give you guys a sneak peak at my one off hood later on today. They are going to build that mold this week for me. Hopefully by next week, you guys can see my whole carbon fiber hood.
