Lovely color combo! Don't often see a black GTC and this one looks a real stunner with the tan.

I agree, a black or dark interior would not have the same look.

As much as I like the GT, the GTC is starting to become a real attraction for me. I really like the look of the soft top - gives it a very exotic-looking profile quite different to the tin top. Unfortunately our harsh antipodean summer means that I can't drive open-top for too long without getting struck by skin cancer, but top up is still a good look. What color is your top, doc?

Very nice, I like that combo. I particularly like the walnut wheel - looks striking against the cream leather.

Won't you get confused on a dark night which one you're getting into?

I hate you. LOL
This is why I bought the Bentley and joined the 6speed.

I need more people to hate me.

I have a black top. In general I do not like a soft top but that is because most of them are cheap and poorly made. I hate the ribs sticking up with the corrugated look. Bentley handles the problem much better than all the others. Lord have mercy we won't even mention the ones that look like folded up umbrellas laying on the trunk lid.

Actually I made the painful decision to trade in the GT for various reasons - garage space, annual cost, etc. In addition my wife has been reluctant to drive it unless she is the DD. We would have had to sell our 2004 red SL which we really did not want to do. In addition, I felt that I would have not driven the GT that much if I had the GTC because Dr. D said I would get much more attention in the convertible.

.....and that is why your wife does not want you to have the GTC. The thoughts of you young studding around the country has her tore up.

Oh Ken I agree when it's into the 90's the top down is to hot, especially at traffic lights. Top can come up any time bro.

One other not commonly thought of pitfall for an open top car for your consideration. A couple of weeks back I crammed the throttle at the crescendo of Money for Nothing, a song by Dire Staits and came face to face with a large black crow trying to get off the ground and out of the way of Black Death with the B on it. He ain't never seen a car go so fast(100mph)

He realized that he was not going to make it with the meal in his beak and dropped the snake just in time to clear the windshield. The snake landed just behind the car on the road. Any slower and it would have been in the wife's lap.

Note to self: watch for snakes or other road kill falling from the sky in the convertible. OR go faster to lessen the probability of entrails in laps OR go even faster and kill the birds on the grill.

And hence the name Dr.Disaster!!

Trying to bump off your mother AND your wife! You're leaving a trail of evidence behind you on this forum

Why don't exciting things like this event happen to me? My biggest fright has been a puddle that I narrowly missed at 10km/hr.

Ken I love understatement as humor too. a puddle.

I after some thought I recall that the snake landed just in front of the car not behind. Never the less my wife had a few things to say about the possibility of a snake in her lap. I told her i was quite surprised to hear that a married lady of her age was so afraid of a little snake.
