Angry Help with 2012 CGT

So I recently purchased a 2012 CGT with 4000 miles on it. After owning it for about a month I walked out in the morning to find the front drivers side noticeably lower than the other three corners of the car. Turns out the air suspension strut is leaking. Now comes the fun part- I am told that the part is "on back-order" and they don't know when it will be available. They gave me a little X3 to drive in the meantime. I asked repeatedly that they harvest the part from one of their unsold cars and then the dealer could wait for the part to become available but they declined. So now I am driving around a 200,000 dollar BMW X3 for the immediate future with no timeline as to when my car might be ready. What would you guys do in this situation? What options do I have? Thank you in advance for your help.

Am sure they will get the part ASAP. Am sure it is frustrating yet my experience with Bentley service has always been great. Let us hope they get the part in very soon.

Maybe Bentley has closed for the Holidays. It happened to me with my Alpina BMW D 10. Alpina was on vacation for at least 2 weeks, so I had to wait.

Yeah I'd be a bit disappointed too. Was there warranty on the car? Did you get it from an authorized dealer? Does Bentley have a customer service department at the central office? If so I'd make a call.

I would kindly let your dealer know that this has hurt your Bentley ownership experience and you had hoped for more from such a renown company. Ask for Bentley as a temporary driver since that is what you gave them your money for. Keep it on the polite till you are ready for litigation and never threaten that till papers are served as a last resort only burning a bridge for ever.

Bad news, hope they ticked the urgent box for you.

I'm having a similar problem but not as urgent - I have no Nav until the dealer can get the update. It'll be next month, it seems, which is a long time to stare at a black screen the size of Texas.

Because I didn't complain, they're giving it gratis. I love those guys! (And I've bought my last 5 cars from them, so there may be a connection there!)
