Spends most of its time parked up in HKbut I guess previous life in UK it was out and about more.

Rust seems to be coming from the two washers, will keep it a clean and update later.

Thanks

Where you live makes a big difference also. I recall owning a motorcycle in Ca and then moving to TN. The metal aged much more rapidly out here. Clean them well and dress with a hydrophobic compound.

I am a few blocks from the ocean and we get a little bit of corrosion because of the salt. Jc333 lives in HK on an island surrounded by salt water. Could be very corrosive. Use a good rust inhibitor. check if your trunk drain hoses have leaks or are not functioning.

Umm...rust seems to be coming from the gold washers on the mech. No such problem on my audi or mb which purchased in HK but will keep it a good clean and spray with silicone for protection.
