WOW! Most impressive.

Question, when you say 'custom', did they fit you to the seat measurements-wise or Bead Seat type or ???

Nope, they are replicas of Porsche GT3 or GT2, I am not really sure. I bought them off of ROTtec . Had the seats custom stitched by them. Was going to build my own, but I am kinda on a time crunch at the moment. Light seats! But I will only used them for rallies or the occasional track days. I love my couch!. I can always build or modified mounts or mount points. We will c how they fit as soon as the car returns from DeltaVTechnologies.

I'd be curious what those OEM seats weigh. You should weigh them after removing them.

Absolutely, I will weight them and post the results. Can't complain at all though. It's truely a couch.

I actually find them to be quite comfortable, yet still stiff.. if I had to guess I'd say they weigh about 125lbs+ each. I like the GT2/GT3 seats your putting in .. should be a happy medium between luxury and weight (similar to the oem speed/supersport seats).

yes, I sat in the OEM SS seats and they feel about the same as these Porsche replica seats that I will be installing. Christ, even at a hundred pounds each, I will still be saving a total of 130lbs. That's alot of weight. I am trying to get my cow down to about 4700lbs. And still have the rear seats intact. Well the rear will be lighten up alot too with custom seats that will need to designed.

I got the non adjustable versions of these seats and my back won't fit in it that great. I only weigh 180lbs, 5'10". I am more muscular than your average person I guess but I think these seats were made with super skinny people with not that much muscle mass in mind!! My lats don't fit. I used a taller\thicker Sparco seat cushion I had lying around and that helped; it places my back higher up where it is wider but then, there is no way the seatbelt holes will work now. : (
Super light weight though…

I am planning on a non adjustable cf seats for purely track purposes on my next project. These seats were meant for occasional rally and basic track days. I am 155lbs to 160lbs.(depending on pooh and beers.lol) .You are correct, they aren't meant for the big boys. I have the Sparco cf ones also, they all seemed rather tight fitting. God knows I will be missing my couch.
