I would not say it was purring like a kitten, more like a plane ready to take up landing gear. What is top speed on a small prop plane anyways? Come to think of it I was double it's take off speed.

 

60-130 mph is a good bench mark to compare performance, its sort of a petrol head constant factor for comparison purposes. most forums will quote 60-130 as an indication of power

My 911 would accelerate 60-130 in 6.8 seconds with 650 bhp.
A 1000 bhp 911 will pull sub 4 seconds. and a 1200 bhp 911 low 3 second mark.

My 0-60 was 2.8 and 0-100 6.5 seconds. Top speed in 1.4 miles 200.11 mph.

Here is a Video of the GT on an banked circuit being driven for Top gear to see if the top speed is what Bentley really claim. Sorry if its been on here before.

Well did it do 200???? What year was that produced? Guess they really did not care for it much.

 

I'm guessing 2003 since they rabbited on about the 'new' Bentley.

 

That's what I thought and therefore the cars we have are a bit faster and more refined. Did any one see him hit the 200mph mark? I would still have to ask if the speedometer can be trusted to be accurate? I will start another thread about that.

Honestly I would expect my car to do the 200mph, time will tell. Oh btw my wife bought me a hat like the one he is wearing.
