Out with the old wheel...

Out with the old 4 spoke, in with the new one. Top Stitch recovered it. A nice new update.

make sure you let the steering control module know you have fitted a 3 spoke wheel.

Install at the local B dealer in less than an hour. Although they have to do some research due to the buttons aren't working and they cannot get the right computer program to work. It is not throwing any default codes, the dealer is going to check with corporate to find the solutions.

Keep us posted. I would be interested in the swap, but only if everything works.

I will, the dealer has all of the printouts from the computer and is sending it to corporate for assistance. They previously switched a 3 spoke to a 4 spoke without any issues and were surprised that it did not automatically boot up. They even inputed the car as a 08 in order to try and trick the computer but had the same results. We shall see....the horn works

Looks amazing --- great idea! Would you mind sharing how much the upgrade costs? Also, what do you do to maintain your leather? Your seats literally look flawless (no wrinkling, lines, etc.)... beautiful car!

The seats, mats, recovering the steering wheel were all done by TopStitch a sponsor on this forum. The wheel was way expensive and I am totally crazy for doing it but I really wanted to update the look. Every time I think about selling my CGT, I just can't do it. I really don''t know what I would get especially factoring in how much I would have to spend to really upgrade. So I figured if I spent the $$$(3,500 including air bag) on the wheel it was way cheaper than upgrading to another car.
