Gt loses torque under full throttle every few seconds....please help!

Hey guys, my 2004 gt just had new cat back exhaust installed & I've noticed hat when I'm at full throttle every 4 seconds the power is reduced for a second & then it resumes. Certainly could have been transpiring before exhaust, but I'm just noticing it. Any idea what could cause that? Thank you

what do you mean by cat back exhaust...do you mean rear silencer or a new cat ? and when you say full throttle are you holding your foot to the floor and revving it.

I installed the fabspeed Maximo exhaust which is simply pipes & mufflers that connect to the oem secondary cats. I am flooring it which driving & notice once it hits the last gear somewhere are 90-100 mph. From there it is pulling good & for a few seconds then loses power & resumes. This trend continues until I let off the gas.

You may want to hook it to the computer and look at the error codes. That may be telling.
