Gt side marker removal rear bumper

I can't seem to get my markers off on my rear bumper
The clips seem epoxied in

Anybody ever seen this before? I think the dealer resprayed the bumper at one time but was there clips here before and they glue it in? Or is this normal? I can't figure how to get the bumper markers out

Here is a snip of what the Bentley ASSIST manual says. You will note that it states "
the lamp is glued into the bumper housing. It may be necessary to damage the lamp to remove from the bumper."

to do a clean job the bumpers gotta come off, then dremel, then re-install

if i reinstall them im going to make my own studs with stainless threaded rod or bolts to make them bolt in.
