You can use top and bottom arms and drop links if my memory serves right I used an A4 estate reg on an 04 plate the parts place should be able to get it up on their system

I'm not sure what you mean by kickback? Can you explain more?

I thought it was A8 and Phaeton that would work, had no idea about the A4.

When I say kick back I mean I can feel the wheels, as if they are bouncing when the suspension settles after a hump in the road. A bit like fitting wheels that are far too heavy and the unsprung weight has been increased.

I feel it front and back.

Its normally the upper control arms that go possibly lower arms awell thats where id look first
Its a preety simple setup just a case of checking arms/bushes/balljoints

Also check your wheels arent damaged/loose

You would be amazed at the amount of times ive seen wheels that have been newly refurbished and the rim bolts are loose or cross threaded or broken
