Dice 102 installed - questions

So I got this thing installed in my 2007 GTC.

I used the star-of-death-Ninja tool to extract the CDC. It was a breeze.

The head unit does not show me any track information at all.

Both dip switches are up. I find that works best.

Is there anything I can do to show tracks and albums?

Thank you.

I have the same setup except i have a little bluetooth dongle that attaches to the headphone jack on the DICE and my iphone talks to the bluetooth wireless . I dont think you can get anything to display on the Bentley dash. I use spotify and Pandora to stream and just look at the iPhone display. I have alot of trouble with the unit, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. I have to disconnect it often and play with the dip switches, its quite a pain but when it works it works and I think thats our only option for the price.

Like others said, and I have both Dice units and the Bentley factory unit, there is no way to show track/title info. The early Bentley cars have prehistoric infotainment systems.

Hi Zbird.

I have the same unit as you and as said, no, you can't get any info'.
Mine works just fine until my other half messes with the 60GB IPod, then it sometimes freezes or won't fast forward or rewind via the infotainment button. Usually, switching off the IPod gets things back to normal, although I have had to disconnect the power lead from the Dice unit twice to restore things.
Mine is fitted in the cubby hole under the armrests so is easy to get at.

Regards. Les.

If it helps anyone I just did a trip to France in my 2006 and wanted to bring my music ( iphone ). I bought a £20 FM Transmitter that plugs in to the cigarette lighter socket and plays the music through the speakers. Worked like a dream with my Spotify, gave me all my music on demand and gave my passenger something to do
