All of a sudden all wheels show low tire pressure?

All of a sudden my tyre pressure light came on and its showing the hazard by all 4 wheels. Upon checking the pressure all 4 are good, does this mean my TPMS master is shot? My only other thought might be it has something to do with the spare tire? Any input? Thanks so much!

What year Gt/GTC as we know the 04/05 models would have the main brain unit for that go bad and need replacing. The 06 onward used a different TPMS configuration. Did you try the using the menu on the main radio/head unit and have it reinitialize the TPMS system?

Yes, it is an 05 and I did use the radio to reset the tire pressure (it said something like make sure the tires are cold) and upon reset it still shows error on both dash and in nav screen. Is that the reinitialize you are referring to?

Yes and looks like you'll need to visit the dealer and get a new TMPS 'brain' and perhaps sensors too. Not sure the price though I have seen it discussed here before so do a search.

PS: You may be able to disable the TPMS, see post #51 https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-thread-4.html

What would happen if he ignored the warning completely? He knows the tires are fine so keep driving. How did we ever have the confidence to drive on tires before we had the fancy warnings???

If your car is brain dead then treat it like any other brain dead member of your family, you know you have some, and ignore them.

Thanks for the input and depending on price I might skip and just purchase that vagcom on ebay and kill that whole annoying beep and dash warning. I hate having a dash light on so I will either get the new brain or terminate that warning via the steps in the DIY thread here. Thanks as always!

Yes a beep needs to be killed and the light is just another annoyance. Good luck and I hope you can get things done with spending to much money.
