Brooklands rotors & pads
Hey guys,
Just took delivery of my 2009 Brooklands this past weekend.
I noticed the rotors and pads need to be changed within the next few months.
Dealer trying to charge almost 4k.
I know I can find the parts maybe a little cheaper.
Does anyone recommend an online store to purchase Bentley brake parts?
I went on FlyingSpare already.
Thank you for your time and help, Alex

Try Scuderia Systems in the UK. http://www.scuderiasystems.com/. Here's an email:
chris@scuderiasystems.com. I've had very good success with them. A local friend of mine just bought rotors and pads from Chris for his Continental GT. I've bought a lot of parts from them.

Introcar (Jack Barclay's) and Flyingspares are the top RR/B parts suppliers. Both offer significant discounts off the prices listed on their site. Brake parts will unfortunately be expensive to ship, but I get other parts from the UK as fast if not faster than I do from US based dealers (east coast) and even after shipping and customs come out 10-15%+ ahead. They are both extremely helpful also. In the US, Albers is recognized as the top (and oldest) supplier.
Except for the carbon rotors which are VAG group, the brakes on all Arnage based cars are BMW sourced. Green label arnages used e38 750il rotors and pads front/rear. The later arnages (ie your car) use the e38 750il protection front rotors/pads. The rear rotors on the later arnages are a bit odd... appear to be a 34216793246. If you want to save, just measure your rotors and double check and match them up to the BMW parts. For the pads, just look at Introcar's website. You can clearly see the Ferodo pad part numbers of the back of the pads... I'm currently using some stoptech pads, but as near as I can tell, they are all AWFUL for brake dust. It's all super cheap, super easy and no one has ever said BMW brakes suck!
(By the way, according to the service manual, your front rotors are: 348mmx34mm and rear 345mm unless you have the carbon brakes)
Good luck. Fortunately, the brakes on these cars are extremely easy to work on.
