Exhaust Valve Bypass Mod

Exhaust Valve Bypass Mod
Hi all - I wonder if some kind sole would help me....?
I recently bought a 2007 GTC, and I want to disconnect the vacuum tubes that control the exhaust valves... to leave them permanently noisy.
I had a quick look under the car last night (squeezed under as dont have a ramp ), but I couldn't tell what pipes need disconnecting and plugging.
Can anyone help, preferably with a picture if possible?
I remember seeing a pic a while ago, but cannot find it anymore!
Thanks for any help!

Look at the end of each rear silencer and you will see a round actuator with an arm going to the butterfly valve. Simply remove the vacuum pipe from each actuator and plug it with a 5mm bolt or similar, job done.

Yes. All good. Took the under tray at the rear off to be able to get in easier.

Remove the bottom cover.
8mm socket, one was 10mm for some reason, plus T25 for body screws.
Flapper valve you can just barely see is activated by the two actuators.
Pull the rubber hose off. Block. Tape out of the way.

I would imagine that it isn't RPM related but rather, as it is vacuum operated, they would open under full throttle.
Mine were already done when I bought the car and I do like the sound of it.

I don't know when they open, other than when in sport mode. As its to keep the car quiet at low revs/speed you would imagine it's one or both of those.
It's more pleasant to the ear on the inside, and one would imagine more delightful for those on the outside too.

Everyone outside looks when I start up and when driving round. It really is impressive from outside. Inside the car its loud enough to make you smile all day long, but on long runs at speed the sound melts into the background unless you open her up.
Driving through tunnels puts a grin on the face from ear to ear.
I would say the only down side to this exhaust is the cold start, it really is aggressive until the idle speed drops and the engine warms up. "
ITS LOUD"
