I need to get 6 year service and the houston dealership is asking 3500 for this! I just got the car! Is there anyone in houston that you guys can recommend who can do it cheaper? Also I have extended warranty on the car, will going to someone else void the warranty?

The safest thing to do, IMHO, is to ask the Bentley dealer (Post Oak) if it would void the warrantee. In my 3 years of dealing with them I have found them to be very good. In fact, I would say they might be the best dealership I have dealt with - from sales, parts, service etc.

I talked to the 800 bentley number and they said I can get service from anyone it doesn't void the warranty. Who do you guys recommend in Houston? Also, what are the things that really need to be done in this service list:

Oil/filter change
Windshield wiper replacement
Brake fluid replacement
Brake hoses replacement
Pollen filter replacement (cabin filter)
Key fob battery replacement
Air filter replacement (for engine)
Transmission fluid and gasket replacement
Safety inspection
Charge/test batteries in vehicle
Key battery replacement
Rotate/balance tires

Hi, I was in a similar situation when I bought my '05 CGT. I was faced with the big 6 year service bill, I got mine done by a Bentley specialist over here in the UK. I spoke to him and he was saying its a major service interval for this car, the transmission oil change alone was £270 hence the big invoice (£1100 here in the UK) I would recommend biting the bullet and getting everything done, these are high performance cars and need to be looked after properly. In the two years of ownership I've had to replace brake discs and pads, radiator (due to leak), power steering pipes, dip stick (tip broke off), lower anti roll link and also had the aero spoiler repaired. I expected to have high running costs when I bought the car so these weren't a major problem, just a part of Bentley ownership! The smiles per miles more than compensate in my opinion!

I don't know if Pete will be less expensive but he is always invited to participate in our (Rolls-Royce Owners' Club) regional annual technical seminar and is highly regarded in the club. He and his wife Anna are wonderful people and definitely Greek as well.

That is a big service and it will cost anywhere you do it. I doubt an independent will save you more than 25% of that fee. They will still have to buy Bentley parts and that will cost. What about the spark plug change? Has that been done yet?

I have used Driversource on Memorial for my CGT. Ask for Steve or Mark in the service dept.

They are very used to exotics of all age and description.
