Transmission fluid change? Can you check temperature with V-scanner V202?

I have a Vag V202 scanner and I want to know if you can check the temperature of tranny fluid with this scanner and if so how? My mechanic has the capability to change the fluid, filter and gasket but I hear the temperature has to be at a certain temperature. Also how many quarts/liters and types of fluid does the 6HP26A take? All inputs would be appreciated.

Service manual says Shell ATF M-1375.4 (Bentley part #: JNV862564A). Note: manual says you must also change the front and centre differential cooling circuit. lubricant oil (Burmah SAF-AG4).

Also note the fluid temperature. Use the VAS 5054A. {navigation} Guided Functions/Component replacement/Select Vehicle System or function/transmission/transmission control/CHECK FLUID LEVEL-TRANSMISSION. The replaced ATF needs to exceed 85C to ensure it fills the cooler circuit.

There are a number of steps required when you change the ATF. If you want full instructions from the IETIS manual, PM me with your email address and I'll provide

If you want instructions, please PM me with your email address. Also note: I don't think you need to change the transmission fluid yet.
