i recently purchased FS Speed, from a well known dealer, the foot plates say speed, but i am not sure it is.

How can you tell, one thing on my car is the seats, they are not diamond quilted, and i read this was std. if it turns out is not a speed version,what advise do you give regarding the dealer that sold it to me. i bought it because it was a speed, i have a 2012 model.

 

The engine intake will be black versus light gray for non speed, and the door sills will say "speed", I also thought the front bumper air intakes were different, but not sure on the 2012 for that.

my doors sill say speed, but the engine is not black, and my seats are not mulliner style.

Did he list it as a speed edition, or was it ever discussed being a "Speed", or did you just see the sills and thought it was a speed, what does the title show ?


If the engine is not black it is not a speed......

So you have a SPEED, as far as the seats, I believe that is a option as there are three 2012 FS Speed's on EBay right now, two with the mulliner package which have the diamond quilted seats and door panels along with the different steering wheels, 3 spoke versus 4, and one without.

johnny, thanks, i was concerned as Edmunds say the Mulliner seats are Std, mine has all the above, except diamond seats.
