Tinting a Continental GT

Could anyone shed some light on tinting one of these?

I don't plan on tackling the job myself, but Im worried about water being squeegeed behind the dash and rear shelf. Am I being a little too paranoid or is this a pretty legitimate concern?

I know that the glass is supposed to be IR resistant on the W12 models.

What film do you guys use on your vehicles?

In terms of front windshield sensors, should the front windshield not be tinted?

Would 3m crystalline be a good choice?

The rear glass on the car seems to have a factory tint either built in or applied to the glass. Which is it?

Lastly, I know VLT is completely subjective, but 40% would be alright, yeah?

I did mine with 35 all around, and 50% on the entire front windshield.

It is dark at night, a bit too dark to be honest.

cant remember the brand i used it was a premium one tho not a cheap tint. make sure the installer is good it is a pain to tint the back glass.

3M Crystalline is awesome and more (darker) is not *always* better. Remember that night time driving needs to also be accounted for so going too dark could be problematic. Now that I've moved to FL it is time to tint the GTC and going with 3M Crystalline.

On second thought, just book an apt for FormulaOne Pinnacle Series. I prefer the color of it and it still uses good tech and lets cell/etc signals through fine. For those curious, it is $279 for the GTC (add $30 for strip along the windshield, which I'm not opting for).
