Hello,

I just bought my 2007 GTC (private owner) and it has thrown a CEL and was hoping you could help. My car threw a P0171 code and shows as lean bank 1. There is no change in performance once it goes on and no other sounds.

I cleared the code and it stayed away for about 400 miles before returning.

I'm hoping it's a MAF but am unsure what else it could be.

A couple years ago Bentley Nashville did the engine out service replacing the line above transmission, so I'm doubtful it's that. I also don't hear the vacuum pump running.

Any ideas you have would be welcomed.

Replaced my Bank 1 MAF, reset the ECU and it is gone! (1.5 tanks of fuel)

I was too given that it was a late build 2007 but who knows, maybe they had left over parts.

Regardless, it was done and it made me feel much better about the purchase.
