Exclamation 05' Continental GT trunk lid?

Hi,

Just checking since I don't know...

Is the trunk lid supposed to pop up and fully open by itself?

I have the 05' and I press the button and hear noises, i see a bit of movement and then I lift it.

I know that when I close it, it closes it and locks it down.

I wanted to ask so i know and i don't break it any further than I am already

Thanks,
David

Hi David.

The early models didn't have full lift or close on the trunk/boot. The noise you mention is normal.

Thanks Les!

Do you know the different bulbs that I need for the front and rear turn signals, reverse lights, puddle lamps, and the two headlamps? Pretty sure I saw the high beam is a 9005.

Thanks again!

David

Sorry, no. I did change the side lights/front marker lights to LED's but it's a right pain in the proverbial to do. Three and a half hours I struggled for and had plenty of cuts too.
The LED's were from eBay; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/T10-CAR-BU...72.m2749.l2649

I'm sure someone will know what other bulbs you need.

Here's a link to the thread about changing bulbs; https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-headlamp.html
