So I started having my spoiler warning light on the dash on every start up and whilst driving it would pretty much do its own thing. Coming up and going down wheneverw it felt like it. So I stripped the boot down and started using the buttons and found I could lower the spoiler but couldn't raise it. I then found that ifif raised the spoiler using the bolt in the boot and then pressed the button to raise it it would still go down.
So I removed the motor and left it connected and sure enough the drive gear turned anti clockwise regardless of which button I pressed.
After opening up the motor casing I found some corrosion on the boat
So I cleaned the board up but unfortunately the corrosion appears to have gotten into the multi layer board as this had no effect.
What I did find on one of the Lambo forums is that if you make a jumper wire to link out pins 4 and 10 you can remove the motor completely and will never have an error on the dash
