Iphone 6+ and Intigration with 2013 Bentley Infotainment Issues
I am trying to determine why my Iphone 6+ is cutting out my Bentley Infotainment system audio everytime i get a Text, message, and email on my Iphone. it cuts out the Media and CD Player and doesnt return back to play after the interuption has occured. is this a software update to the Vehicle? other settings or notifications i had turned off on my Iphone and it still happens? any advise would be helpful!

I have a similar problem on my 2017 GTC. My Iphone 8 (Verizon) connects and disconnects to bluetooth every 10 seconds making handsfree and use of my music impossible. I have spoken to Bentley Customer Service. I have been told that Bentley does not support IOS over 11.0. Meaning, you can't use your Iphone if you have 11.0. or later operating system. Completely unacceptable given my other cars (some over 10 years old) have no problem connecting to my Iphone w/11.4 IOS.

I took it to dealer and the inky advise they could give me was to turn off all the notifications which seemed to help more than it was before but I had to go into each notification and turn each individual one off for Messages, Mail etc seems crazy since my 2008 GTC worked perfectly without any issues at all. I would have assumed that changes to a new year meant better integration however not in this case. I also have IOS 11 upgrade as well on my iPhone 6. I guess it just is one of those quirky things we have tomlive with for driving such a beautiful machine. So I will just need to forget about the convenience of total phone integration or pick my passions of what is the most important music or phone. For the price it shouldn’t have to be this way though
