Cables in Glove Box

Newbie here, I am still waiting on my owners manual for my 2007 GTC. IN the glove box I have two cables I do not know if this is factory or not. I assume one is for power and one looks like an old style iPod connector. Questions, where does this hook up to and can the old style

connector be replaced to a new style connector or is there and adapter I have to purchase? Thanks in advance!

They are retro fitted so nothing in the handbook if it arrives .As you say the right is Apple a previous generation now .
You can buy an old I pod on e bay that’s compatible with the plug and then down load all your iTunes stuff .
when plugged in ( there may be a Velcro wallet to attach the pod to the roof of the glove box ? ) it’s apoears on the info entertainment system instead of the CD changer .Leave it permanently in the car .
So all the CD controls and screen shots are substituted for the I pod .
Ive got 300 tunes which is obviously better than a 6 stacker CD .

i don,t know what the left connector is .
