Dension Bluetooth glove box install!

Just put in the Bluetooth module, my gateway was installed behind glove box.
Here is my install.
Still playing with functions, works good on incoming, voice dial works but is a pain to get to so far.

Install took about an hour, Fiddled with it for 3 more to try to get used to interface, which is still murky on dial out!

I hope you ran an extension cable to USB port (to a conveinent place) to enable future F/W updates.

Taking apart the glove box/dash trim to upgrade F/W would be too much work.

USB cable is down by the power outlet carpeted area, just pushed in, easily
gotten out when necessary.
Have already used it for 2 upgrades!

with about 1/2 hour experience, the iphone is having problems making a trouble-free connection. my old samsung worked fine receiving calls (seems all the guys are having trouble making calls no matter what phone).

Im thinking about putting mine in the trunk since I have a CDC. Does anyone have a step by step process of their install in trunk bypassing the CDC?

Thanks

It's pretty straightforward. The Dension instuctions aren't too bad. If you've done any car stereo work in the past you should have no problem. Removing the fiber optic cables fromt the NAV DVD is the toughest part. Removing the plastic rear trunk surround makes it a lot more accessible.

Try searching previous threads. Use Dension as the keyword.

This is a good one.

Good Luck!
