Bentley 2007 GTC Body Composition

Are the body panels all aluminium on this model? I was told just the hood/bonnet is. The trunk seems to be made out of a composite, perhaps fiberglass?

John: I've determined that as well as the hood, the front fenders on mine are aluminum. I understand interchangeable(?) OEM plastic substance fenders exist. My trunk lids do appear to be fiberglass construction.

I just tried mine with a magnet - the doors, roof, rear qtr panels are all steel. No magnetism in the hood, front fenders or the trunk lid....or bumpers, of course.

XJ Jaguars I have are all aluminum and have been since at least 2005. I know there is little connection between a Bentley and a Jaguar, other than British.

I think 07s and up are metal fenders ('superformed aluminium'). My 06 GT has plastic, very brittle, POS fenders. Same material as bumper cover, I suppose. The corner where it meets the bumper cracked on mine with just a bit of pressure from my fingers rubbing off some tree sap. Rest of the car is reasonably constructed, save the trunk release methodology and side marker lights which also snap if you look at them.
