I have a few panels that have the leather peeling off. Will the center speaker cover pop off? Will the 2 top dash pieces pop up? I believe the defroster panel has a few screws holding it down. Has anyone had the dash apart before?
You don't want to even try to attempt to remove the 2 top panels, they held down with plastic clips which will snap if you try to lift them at the front & bolted down at the back.The right panel seems like the front clip has broken and lifted the panel.
I'm sure if you ask Johnny he's your man for the full info needed, it's a lot of work to remove them tops, The centre black mesh is not a speaker its part of the heating and cooling system, which can be removed by taking off the front centre panel where the 2 air vent are, the panel is one unit which goes all the way down to the heating control panel. This can be removed by pulling at the bottom it will snap out the metal clips ...
