My fuel filler flap does not open sometimes. Has anyone else had this same problem? I expect it will be either the wiring loom or the solenoid. The solenoid appears to be free to move and the flap will flip open when it is operated by hand. Any ideas, folks?

 

I had a problem with my fuel cap it ended up being the door control panel.i think I was quoted £400 for a new one got a VW pheaton one used for £50 undid 6-8 screws swapped over the circuit board and all works great don't be sucked in by the stupid Bentley prices

 

Thank you mate. I understood that VW and Bentley have many interchangeable parts but I wouldn’t have thought that this would be one of them. Many thanks for your advice.

 

Good luck with your fault.ive also manage to source filter kits for the Bentley's at a hugely discounted price I'm gonna out them on here when they all arrive air pollen and oil if anyone's interested thanks
