Do you have instructions on how you enabled the Camera with VCDS? Mine is still showing as inactive on the infotainment system.
make sure it’s enabled on the Can gateway.
also see if you can communicate with the Backup Camera Module. If you do, you should be able to do Coding. It’s 7 digit number, 200002
then you should be able to see the backup camera on reverse. If you can’t communicate with the backup camera then you have to buy a camera unit control.

It's enabled on the Can gateway but the coding of 200002 did not work. I got an error that the coding was out of range.
You've probably tried this already, but sometimes clearing all dtcs and faults before adapting works.
I tried to but they would not go away. I am pretty sure the controller is at fault. I just ordered a new controller from Scudaria for $500 including shipping, tax and customs charges. It should be here withing the week and hopefully all will be good to go. I don't have a calibration pad and was wondering if you can take a picture of yours from the top view with measurements so I can make one out of cardboard just in case I need to do an adaptation on the new controller?
Below are the dimensions. Don't have one and have never done it myself, but seems folks use dominos pizza boxes to make these. (suppose one could paint or print out on several pieces of paper and you might be able to find a pdf online)
Also, wondering if calibration may not take without the board, as it's listed as a pre-requisite in the ross-tech procedure.

Thank you for the dimensions. That stupid thing costs thousands to buy normally. I can now go to the craft store and buy a large piece of white cardboard and use a black marker to make my own for probably less than 5 dollars. Without it you will not get an accurate setting on your camera and since I am primarily fixing my camera so I can back up into my garage since it's a tight fit, I want it calibrated as accurately as possible.
