Hi, was trying to calibrate with VCDS and The backup camera and image is upside down hence it never calibrates. Wondering if anyone could tell me how to rotate the image.
It looks like your camera is pointing down instead of back. Is it the stock camera or an aftermarket installation? Check above the license plate, there are a set of lights and you'll find the camera housing.
I'm guessing your camera might have been broken/pushed down, or installed incorrectly.
Oops, you might be right for the stock camera. Not sure, but you might be able to reach it by just removing the undertray, which is pretty easy. (put the car shocks to high for a bit more clearance).
Mine (aftermarket) I installed in a combination light/camera that replaced one of the license plate lights and was accessed (original wiring) by removing some panels in trunk and the under-tray, for the reverse light tap.
The part you want to re-orient 180 degrees is the below.

Removing the undertray (6-8 torx screws if I recall correctly), I think you might be able to reach the back of it. Looks like the stock unit is a snap fit, so might not be any screws.
There's also some possibility you can get a tab to release from the outside using a small stiff but fliexible shim, and not have to go from the inside, but not sure if there are things that would prevent the housing from sliding out.
You can see the tab that holds the housing in the pic below. If you can get a spare feeler gauge or something behind that tab, you may simply be able to pull the unit out just enough (so you don't disconnect the wires) to rotate it 180 degrees so as not to have to do any extra work. See the tab on the left side of the housing, just touching the other part. (the smaller part on the left goes on the back of the bigger part (camera housing) and won't be in the way)

Any luck shorttough? Btw. looked up the undertray removal and it's only 5 screws.
Should be an easy job.
hey, when you say undertray you mean the black plastic piece that’s part of the rear bumper fitted for the exhaust? I looked at the distance to reach to the license plate light. It looks like i not reachable. But It’s an inch away from the license plate light if i remove the lights
i really think it would have been easier to access it from inside the trunk. But i don’t know what piece needs to be removed tk access it.
other option is to remove the bumper, i don’t have the instructions to remove them.
I was able to reach the top of the license frame for the cam install from underneath w/o removing the bumper.
Was face up, under the car, looking straight up at the part, and it was reachable straight up. Go slow and have a strong light.
One other thought I have is to remove one of the adjacent license plate lights, which may give you enough room to get a finger in there and push the camera housing out.
edit.... Half the struggle with these type of thing is just willing yourself to get in there and do it! I really don't think you'll have to remove the bumper, but will see if I can find some instructions for you.

thanks man, i was able to remove the license plate lights and push the camera base out to flip the camera. Then super glued it back. Now time to calibrate this thing
