Tire time! Michelin P4S, Pirelli PZero Allseason plus or P-Zero Rosso
Narrowed down to these 3...
Michelin P4S
Pirelli PZero Allseason plus or
P-Zero Rosso
All are within a couple of hundred bucks, have the appropriate ratings ... 105y, xl, etc. I'm in the NorthEast and live on a mountain, so see ice/snow but won't drive it too often in the winter, but would like the option, if possible on wet or dry days. Commute is long and freak storms happen, so don't want something that will make me regret it.
I'd like a quiet ride and decent grip. Mostly highway, but a few miles of twisties I like to have fun on in the upcoming fall spring. Also, finally, I have the stock 19" rims, not the 20" ones.
Any suggestions on which work best with our heavy 1st gen bentleys or stay quietest the longest? Right now Costco has the michelins on sale, bringing them down to a similar price as the other, or close enough for me.
Interesting, when putting in the car as opposed to tire sizes, Michelin A/S 3+ s do not come up. The load rating is listed as 101y, as opposed to 105y for the others.
Would these be a better tire than the P4Ss? 101y load rating OK for our cars?
Leaning toward Michelins as my experience with these has been that they are quieter.

Was looking for the same info and found a good overview on page 3 of this document: http://pmcuk.com/wp-content/uploads/...trix-iss81.pdf
It seems that the weight rating for winter tires is only 102 instead of 105 and the speed rating only W.
Finding that places are unwilling to install the all season tires on the Continental due to the weight. Looks like I'm going with the Pilot Sport 4S
~1300 installed, after tax at Costco for anyone else interested.
Tire Rack has a nice selection of tires.
P Zero All Season Plus is $244.50 a tire. $978 for all 4
P Zero Rosso $282.50. $1130 for all 4
Michelin PS4-----Still $1300

Thanks TeamJones, yep, I did see those and was one of my top 3, but after looking at the reviews/comparisons at TR and youtube, etc. decided on the 4S since after tax and installation, it's only a $150 difference and the PS4Ss seems to be a far more well regarded tire, newer tech, and the one to beat for an all round summer HP street tire. (As long as temps are above freezing!)

That's strange. I have an 06 also and have the spare (in fact, using it now, reason I'm getting tires is because one borked). The tools sit on top in dark grey trays, and the rim and tire are underneath.
I suspect your spare may have been replaced by the mobility kit from the speed model. The bottom of this tray is rounded and takes up the space where the tire would be.
Perhaps try removing the tool trays and post a photo. I am fairly certain the red spare in the right size (available in 19" or 20" depending on your tires) will fit in that recess.
What it looks like with spare...
And what the speed mobility kit looks like from the back side.
Plenty of spares available on ebay. If you stock wheels are 19s, get the 19 x 4.5 and if 20, then get the 20 x 5
Here's a link to the 19 and there's usually several on ebay...
