Our cars have a lot of hidden features. Everyone knows about the emergency starting procedure. But how about the residual heat function? Don't think I've ever seen it discussed here.

I have a Gen 1 Continental. One of its features is the ability to keep the car warm while parked. In the winter in Chicago, it's one of my favorite features. To use it, you go to a climate submenu showing a box for it, turn the car off but do not remove the key, tap the screen box and then remove the key. The car will harvest engine heat to try and keep the car interior warm as long as it can.

Anyone else have a little known trick?
